If you’re planning ahead for America’s 250th in 2026 and thinking, “How do I make history actually exciting?”—this is it.

The America’s 250th Time Capsule Challenge turns your library into an interactive adventure. Families work together to unlock a mysterious time capsule before time runs out.
The Story
Something has gone very wrong…
The library is preparing a time capsule to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. However, the historical clues needed to open it have been scattered across time.
Now it’s up to your participants to recover them.
Solve the puzzles. Crack the code. Unlock the capsule.
The clock is ticking…
What Players Will Do
Teams work through four hands-on puzzles, each revealing one number. Put them together, and they’ll unlock the final code:
🔐 1776
Along the way, they’ll interact with iconic pieces of history like the Liberty Bell. They will explore colonial trade and connect clues tied to American landmarks.
